The substrata used..

Photos expressed everything :P There's no need for me to type lots of words.

Lab 1. Substrata used: Bamboo stick (as rod shape substratum) and wooden lollipop stick (cut into squares for flat shape substratum)

So the initial masses of the substrata were measured and noted.

Lab 2. Substrata used: Polypropylene (PP) sticks (rod shape substratum) and PP board (cut into squares for flat shape substratum)
The initial masses were measured and noted.
The plastic vials we used to replace 50-mL beakers can hold up to 100-mL liquid.

Lab 3. Substrata used: Glass capillary tubes (rod shape substratum) and glass microscopic slide (cut into squares for flat shape substratum)
The initial masses of the substrata were measured and noted.

Preparation prior to Lab 4: Steel epoxy resin, rolled into rod shape and flat shape and allow dry for 1 week. Then it will be cut into suitable size as the substrata for lab 4.
